The project aims at revolutionizing the movie theater food sector creating an alternative for cinema audiences. The goal is to realize a box containing made in Italy products to be proposed to the spectators, so as to replace the usual cinema food. By identifying specific products, Giffoni Innovation Hub -along with the Dream Team’s creatives support- will define Cinema Box business model and design.
A team of designers will define concepts meeting the requisites, the contents and the strategies indicated by Creative Europe, the European Programme -with a budget of 1.46 million euro- dedicated to culture, education and creativity over the period 2014-2020. Dream Team’s young members will develop projects related to digital technologies, creativity and creative industries.
By using VR apps, animation and the new video technologies, the project will offer a definition of visual storytelling. The project will be carried out by the Dream Team’s young members selected for this Next Generation edition through a call for videomakers launched by Giffoni Innovation Hub and Just Knock, the online platform which has changed the usual search of employment, allowing candidates to present the employers with their ideas rather than their curricula.
The purpose of this project is the creation of an online store where to buy innovatively styled Giffoni branded products. Dream Team’s members will work on both the container, which won’t merely be a merchandising platform, and the contents: indeed, they will be involved in the conception of the single products as well as in the product design process.
The project results from the collaboration with our Swedish partners of “The Creative Plot” and is centred on the conception of a technology and science festival to be held in Lund, Sweden, in order to let young millennial get in touch with the digital world and build a digital community within what is planned to become an event dedicated to innovation and development.
