Next Generation – The VI edition
Creativity and entrepreneurship for the youth
The sixth Next Generation edition lasts from 18 to 29 August..
During two weeks, in the first phase of the 50th edition of the Festival, the program will be divided into round tables, laboratories, workshops and will be characterized by the work of the DreamTeam, and the program also includes a series of Innovation Talks as part of the Impact Masterclasses.
An event that will meet young “dreamers” under 30 to explore the infinite possibilities of a sustainable and innovative future in which digital skills can pave the way for them in a new type of economy and a constantly evolving job market.

DREAM TEAM
We’ll launch the call to form a team of young web-economy and innovation experts. Fifteen young people under 30, protagonists of the series of challenges to the latest innovation during which they will find business-friendly answers for two of the partners of the Bayer show, on topics that will focus on digital farming, and BPER Banca, which will invite them to imagine the bank of the future.

MASTERCLASS IMPACT
Moments of “non-formal” discussion in which a group of 80 young people between 18 and 26 interact with a leader of industry, institutions and the ecosystem of Italian innovation. The Impact Masterclasses are meant to light a fire of personal growth on everything that impacts on living today, starting from an equal comparison with the great minds of the economy and society.

ROUNDTABLE
Moments of debate on the future of the “Next Generation”. A roundtable will involve Antonluca Matarazzo, General Manager of Valter Longo Onlus, a foundation that works to prevent diseases through proper nutrition, while on the other table we will discuss CSR, corporate social responsibility, in the conception of an economy new and sustainable.

WORKSHOP, SEMINARS E WEBINAR
To inform and raise awareness among the new generations on the issues of digital culture, creative industries ,and social and digital innovation. The issues identified in this first phase will be aimed at training young people on the new skills required by the market to train them to move independently between opportunities and awareness in the digital, creative and cultural industries.

GIFFONI VR
A specific space where the experience of the virtual and augmented reality lives . Documentaries, short films and commercials will be hosted in this section, that will be opened to the public, through the use of special headsets . With the main Italian stakeholders, we will try to capture a common idea of how the creative and cultural industries use this technology in their business.

DIGITAL LABS
Workshops dedicated to artistic, cultural, recreational and educational activities within the Giffoni Multimedia Valley. The Digital Labs are developed as a path of interactive workshops in order to spreadi digital culture among young people and make them aware of new forms of learning, responsible use of the web and modern hardware and software tools.

INNOVATION SUMMIT – THE FUTURE OF KIDS CONTENT INDUSTRY
The summit intends to involve the major Italian and European stakeholders in the Media, New Media, Entertainment, Edutainment sectors: innovative startups, institutions, public and private investors. One of the objectives is to describe the current opportunities of innovative projects developing in the CCIs area, sharing best practices, projects and encouragement of cooperation not only between countries but also new business projects.

PANEL INNOVAZIONE – VERSO UNA CULTURA SOSTENIBILE
A necessary event in which the most important institutions and companies in the cultural sector will participate in order to stimulate debate and identify the paths to take towards the world to come. The horizon to aim for is the definition of a synthesis between some of the positive (and incontrovertible) elements of globalization and the enhancement of territories through the implementation of medium / long-term structural plans that involve the public system with the private one.
