Friday 21st July recap

Virtual reality and new technologies applied to didactics were the topics debated with the Dream Team talents during the last but one day of Next Generation. The workshop “Animation, VR & New Technologies for Kids Education” was attended by Carlo Cuomo, Entertainment Project Manager & Didactic Supervisor at IUDAV – the University Institute for Digital Animation and Videogames, Angela Chiara Nappi, founder of CN Production, Raffaele Criscuolo, director and children’s author at CN Production, Eugenio Pisani, new media and VR specialist and Vincenzo Ardito, trainer for Cined, a project realized by the social cooperative GET (Bari). In the afternoon, Minister of Education, University and Research Valeria Fedeli signed a three-year agreement protocol with Giffoni Experience. “I’d like to thank Giffoni Innovation Hub -she said- because it allows for the valorization of new languages with the purpose of introducing its young people to revolutionary jobs. These jobs will in turn allow to tackle discriminations and violence tearing  down the walls and building a global and advanced citizenship”.
