Startup Experience School: students, ideas and entrepreneurship

Fifteen pitches, fifteen ideas submitted by fifty young people aged 16-20 to professionals of the field. It’s “A scuola di startup experience” (“Startup Experience School”) day, the project derived from the collaborative effort among Giffoni Innovation Hub, auLAB and dPixel and focused on the  spreading of the corporate culture and the development of entrepreneurial ideas and projects. In the Lecture Hall of the Antica Ramiera the young creatives – mostly coming from the Italian regions of Apulia and Calabria- were introduced by Davide Neve, CEO of auLAB, Lisa Di Sevo, dPixel Associate and startup expert, and Antonino Muro, Co-founder & Account Manager of Giffoni Innovation Hub. «Since we started back in 2015 – said Davide Neve – we have already created 200 entreprises and involved in our projects 12,000 students. Now we are going to launch an incubation process of new startups. Some of them are already grown into enterprises, whereas others are doing it now. Therefore, it can be said that we are starting to reap the benefits of our work».

The young creatives coming from different Italian schools were guided, praised and instructed by Anna Laura Orrico, Co-founder of Talent Garden Cosenza, Lucia Moretti of Goodwill association, Giovanni De Caro, Chief Executive Officer at Volano, Vincenzo Villani, Digital Economy Supervisor for Southern Italy at Banca Sella, Lorenzo Allevi, Co-founder & CEO of Oltre VENTURE, Francesco Serravalle, organizer of Startup Weekend Salerno and regional representative of Confindustria Startup Young Enterpreneurs, Gennaro Crescenzo, Supervisor for Southern Italy at Banca Sella, Francesca Gargiulo, Training Sector Expert at Goodwill and Gennaro Tesone, CEO of 56 Cube.

Fifteen presentations plus one: the project by Starwork, a young company developing videogames, was also illustrated. Starwork, which took its first steps as a startup in Giffoni, has already developed various videogames and has been repeatedly awarded, proving to be an emergent brand in its field.
