Giffoni Innovation Hub and StartupItalia: partners who support talents
Giffoni Innovation Hub and StartupItalia will discuss “The Digital Transition of the Creative and Cultural Industries” during a live broadcast with young people under30 of the Dream Team. How to create the new skills needed in the creative industries and respond to the challenge that the ongoing changes in the labour market demand? Filippo Satolli, CEO StartupItalia, Alceo Rapagna, CEO Startupbootcamp and The Talent Institute, Marco Fanciulli, RCS, SVP Digital Product Innovation, R&D, Luca Tesauro CEO and founder of Giffoni Innovation Hub and Luca Ruju, General Manager of Giffoni Innovation Hub will try to give an answer. “We work to identify and transmit to young people the tools and skills necessary to create the new professions of the future – explains Tesauro – Those who come to Giffoni know that this is a place where they can do business“.
The partnership between Giffoni Innovation Hub and StartupItalia aims at working with and for young people in order to make them successful and it has already obtained an important result: the visit of Sios in Giffoni on 15 October. “Today,’ says Ruju, ‘we talked about the ecosystem of the cultural industries and that’s what we would like to create to help young people to specialise and create start-ups. Today, we need to invert the paradigm. Until recently, companies have sought to acquire startups – says Fanciulli – Today what startuppers need is the ability to provide the company with what it does not have.
Giffoni Innovation Hub intends to support talents just like StartupItalia. As creators of the market,” says Satolli, “it is up to us to work alongside and support young people who want to do startups. We have to speak directly, clearly, without frills, and make it clear that when you adapt to commercial logic you risk crashing”.
